Super Grouper — Privacy Policy

Summary

Super Grouper is a single-player game. It has no user accounts, no login, no servers of our own, no in-app purchases, and no ads. It does not track you across apps or websites.

The only data that can ever leave your device is anonymous gameplay analytics, and only if you explicitly turn it on. It is off by default.

What We Collect

If you leave analytics off (the default)

Nothing. No data leaves your device. The analytics SDK is never even initialised.

If you turn on "SHARE ANONYMOUS STATS" in Settings

We send a fixed, limited list of gameplay events to our analytics processor. The complete list is:

• App opened — that the app launched
• Consent granted / declined — your analytics choice
• Shift started — which ride
• Shift completed — ride, score, letter grade, guests boarded, average satisfaction, seconds played
• E-Stop pulled — whether it caught a real overload
• Party split — ride, party size
• Challenge shared / accepted — which ride
• Theme / music pack changed — which theme or pack
• Setting toggled — which setting, and on or off

Alongside these events, our analytics processor assigns a random, anonymous device identifier so repeat events can be counted as one device. It is not linked to you, your name, or any account, and it is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.

What We Never Collect

• Your name, email address, or any contact details
• Your location
• Your contacts, photos, or files
• Your advertising identifier (IDFA)
• Screen recordings, session replays, or automatic tap/screen capture
• Automatic crash or error capture
• Any data used to track you across other companies' apps or websites

Data That Stays on Your Device

Some information is saved on your device and is never transmitted anywhere:

• Your crew name and any relay crew names you type
• Your scores, best scores, weekly bests, and XP
• Which shifts you have completed
• Your settings (sound, music, haptics, assist mode) and tutorial progress

This is stored in the app's own storage. Deleting the app deletes all of it.

Who Processes the Data

Analytics are processed by PostHog, using their European Union cloud region (eu.i.posthog.com). Data is stored in the EU.

Your Choices and Rights

You can turn analytics on or off at any time in Settings → Privacy & Data → Share Anonymous Stats. Turning it off stops all collection immediately and resets the anonymous identifier.

Because we collect no identifiers tied to you, we generally cannot locate "your" data to export or delete it individually. If you have questions about your rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA/CPRA — including access, deletion, or objection — contact us at the address below and we will help.

We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not process data for targeted advertising.

Children

Super Grouper is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the "Last updated" date and note the change in the app's release notes.
